Assist the yard crew with unloading railcars and loading trucks with pipe to be delivered to oil field well sites



  • Travel with the Clean and Drift Pipe Inspectors to well locations where pipe is being delivered and work so  the unloading process is handled safely and efficiently
  • Ensure the company men are provided defect free pipe by tallying (measuring), drifting (ensuring exact roundness) and cleaning (power washing) each piece of pipe
  • Ensure all activities are accurately documented
  • Cleaning / housekeeping, snow removal
  • Handle problems as they arise and initiate steps to resolution 
  • Commit to Safe work practices  through situational awareness, following standard operating procedures, receiving constructive criticism and watching out for the health and wellness of others


  • Stable work history, preferably in an industrial environment
  • A sound understanding or aptitude to learn pipe transloading 
  • Understands, or willing to learn, railroad operations and safety 
  • Mechanically Inclined
  • Can work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Committed to working safely at all times including a commitment to the policies and procedures of the operation
  • Positive attitude and a good team member
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical, reference checks, drug screen, motor-vehicle report and criminal background check 
  • Must be able to attend and pass all tests associated with job related coursework. This includes, but it not limited to: OSHA, HazMat and FRA 
  • Willing to reliably fulfill the designated work schedule


  • Stable work history, preferably in an industrial environment
  • High School Education or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to complete the physical aspects of the job including heights, crawling, walking long distances on uneven terrain, etc. 
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions: extreme wind, snow, rain, heat and cold 
  • Able to routinely lift 50-lbs
