  • Overview

    Leads the Company’s Equipment Department, responsible for all aspects of the organization's equipment strategy supporting the diverse needs of the company’s 240+ operations and 6,000+ mobile assets around the world.   


    • Lead a team of four that delivers exceptional value for the company in its mobile equipment assets
    • Leads and executes equipment purchases, including vendor identification and contract negotiation
    • Develops policies, practices, and procedures for the acquisition and deployment of equipment to enable the company’s mission to distinctively create value for Customers
    • Responsible for hiring, training, coaching and the performance, of team
    • Leads a team that evaluates, designs, specifies, procures, and sells the businesses assets
    • Collaborates with Senior Leaders, Operations Managers and Developers in creating and executing the mobile asset strategy of the company


    Education / Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum, Master of Business Administration technical degree program preferred / equivalent work experience considered
    • 10+ years of similar experience desired
    • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office suite tools
    • Project development experience required
    • Ability to lead and teach “LEAN” principles
    • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of mobile equipment (Ideally, yellow equipment, trucks, rail, marine and material handling equipment)
    • Demonstrated understanding of “Total Cost of Ownership” principle
    • Demonstrated ability to determine Value-Life-Term-Residual of mobile equipment
    • Demonstrated understanding of latest trends in equipment technology and use Demonstrated project management skills

    Physical Requirements
