  • Overview

    Savage is currently seeking a Contracts Administrator in our Legal Department. This person will work with and assist the Company’s General Counsel and legal team with the administration and management of contracts. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate and assign incoming legal requests for contract review
    • Manage contracts by tracking, analyzing, aggregating and reporting necessary information. This includes: key milestones, notifications, commencement and expiration dates, and contact information.
    • Determine key contract terms and communicate pertinent information to appropriate end users
    • Collaborate with Legal and operational groups to manage the tracking and execution of contracts
    • Manage the contract database. Upload contracts into the database, enter contract data, and set and manage the alarms for upcoming contract notices, including expiration and renewal dates
    • Collaborate with Risk management and Finance on insurance and rate adjustment provisions
    • Notify business groups of contract alarms and manage updates in the database
    • Collaborate with operational leaders on required reporting
    • Ensure timely communication with all operations regarding contracts
    • Maintain and manage form contracts
    • Act as a liaison between Legal, Finance, Risk, Contract Administration, and Business Groups
    • Act as key point of contact for any questions/needs regarding executed contracts
    • Responsibilities are not all inclusive and may change based on the need of the company

    Qualifications

     

    • Superior follow-up and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently as well as inter-departmentally with limited supervision.
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent Proofreading skills
    • Experience interfacing with various levels of management including top-level executives
    • Superior organizational skills, judgment, and flexibility
    • Team player

    Education/Experience

    • BS degree in Business or related field preferred
    • Expert knowledge of MS Windows, Word, and Excel
    • Solid working knowledge of Salesforce, Netdocuments, and Docusign preferred

    Physical Requirements

    • This position is primarily in an office.
    • Must have the ability and willingness to perform the essential physical functions of the position.
