    Savage is currently hiring for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in Midvale, UT.  In this role, you are the team member responsible for leading the Accounts Payable team including invoice processing, payments, purchase card and fuel programs.  You will also be responsible for leading and working with other leaders to drive process improvements and increased team efficiency.  If you have the experience and are excited to drive a transformational project for the business, submit your application today!


    • Manage AP team responsible for processing invoices, payments, purchase cards, and Fuel
    • Develop, implement and maintain systems, procedures and policies for accounts payable
    • Support project to centralize the accounts payable and procurement process providing opportunity to participate in very visible transformational project to improve business processes
    • Manage and develop team members
    • Identify and implement process and system improvements including automation of processes to improve efficiencies and accelerate close process
    • Close procedures and perform account reconciliations
    • Manage company purchase card program
    • Support financial statement audit and other company and finance projects
    • Accounts payable process lead for Oracle
    • Develop KPIs and drive improvements


    • Experience leading a team
    • The successful candidate is a driven, self-starter who can manager him/herself
    • Excellent problem solving skills
    • Experience with large, complex organization with a centralized accounts payable department; experience with transitioning from a decentralized to a centralized accounts payable process preferred
    • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills


    • 6+ years’ experience in accounting and/or accounts payable
    • Bachelor’s degree; Accounting degree preferred
    • Working knowledge of Oracle


    • Public accounting experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
