    Sunpro is growing!!!  Sunpro, a Savage Company, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide general administrative support to the management team

    Responsibilities

    Primary Duties

    • Assist Hiring Manager with tracking applicant status, obtaining release forms and coordinating pre-employment drug screens
    • Coordinate onboarding of new team members, ensure paperwork is filled out correctly and reporting deadlines are met
    • Work closely with SH&E and People Solutions to coordinate new hire training activities
    • Additional administrative duties; copying, scanning, etc

     

    Backup Duties

    • Set up jobs in Connect, including data entry of project information
    • Process daily paperwork
    • Process expense reports, bills of lading, fuel entries, and update various spreadsheets
    • Assist Operations Manager in preparing weekly schedule & ordering approved supplies
    • General clerical duties, such as copying, scanning and answering incoming phone calls
    • Take and deliver messages and greet visitors in a warm and courteous manner
    • Routine Post-Office run to send out outgoing mail at least weekly

    Qualifications

    • Must be people-oriented and customer-service driven
    • Must exude strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Able to work in a fast-paced, high stress environment
    • Must be available to work overtime as needed
    • Must be able to read and write, in English. Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Demonstrate strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint

    Education/Experience

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • 1-2 years relevant experience preferred
    • Valid driver license required
    • Experience with multi-line phone system is helpful 

    Physical Requirements

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. Employee must be able to use hands to, feel, or handle paperwork and work the telephones, computer, and other office equipment.  Employee must be able to reach, climb, stoop, kneel and crouch.  Employee must be able to talk and hear.  The employee is regularly required to lift up to 25lbs.  The employee may be required to lift and move up to 40lbs.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include using a computer monitor and reading documents.

     

    Work Environment:

    This is primarily an office position.  In the office, the employee will be frequently exposed to normal office noises such as telephones ringing, copier running, etc.  The noise level in the office is typically low to moderate. Safety glasses are required in the warehouse.
