    Savage Services is looking for our next Learning and Organizational Development Specialist to join our team in Midvale, UT.  In this dynamic role, you will partner with business leaders to enable them to meet their business objectives through leveraging Learning and OD expertise specifically in the areas of: leadership capability development, career development, talent management, Team Member engagement, performance management and change management.



    • Partner with business leaders to develop and align critical talent programs to help Teams more effectively achieve business results
    • Work with Group and Unit Leaders to measure & improve organization effectiveness through OD diagnosis and interventions, aligning around strategic business priorities, and being a key partner in implementation of organization change
    • Design and deliver Leadership programs that build leadership capabilities required to meet business needs and priorities
    • Lead the ongoing implementation and refinement of Savage Services Team Member Performance System (performance management)
    • Manage the Team Member Engagement Pulse survey from survey design through action planning implementation
    • Create and deploy a highly innovative Career Development program for all Savage Services Team Members
    • Assist the organization in areas of organizational redesign and team development
    • Act as a change agent providing the support and mechanism to implement major changes to the operations of the business and provide coaching to leaders and executives on organizational growth
    • Manage the processes of replacement planning, succession planning, key Team Member retention design, change management, workforce management and Team Member development
    • Identify and monitor company culture so that it supports the Company's goals and promotes Team Member engagement
    • Responsibilities are not all inclusive and may change based on the need of the company



    • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, Psychology, or another closely related field; Master’s Degree preferred
    • 5-8 years related experience in organizational development, human resources and/or training
    • Experience managing and implementing organizational and leadership development and talent management programs, coaching/mentoring programs, engagement programs, performance management or similar initiatives
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills with a strong capability to develop meaningful partnerships with business leaders
    • Attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills with strong follow-through required
    • Apply fundamental OD theories that address systems, change management, learning, group process and performance
    • Ability to facilitate discussions and to collaborate with diverse groups
    • Strong influencing and partnering skills with the ability to navigate across the organization
    • Demonstrated ability to gain the trust and credibility of senior management as well as front-line Team Members is required
    • Strategic thinker with an exceptional record of execution.
    • Strong familiarity with learning technologies including: learning management systems, web delivery tools, collaborative development tools, mobile learning and bite-sized learning technologies
    • Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize work 
    • Must have the ability and willingness to travel approximately one week out of every month.
