Gulf Sulphur Services (a division of Savage Services), an established materials management company, is seeking a Process/Equipment Operator to work at our Sulphur Handling Operation located in Chicago, Illinois.  At this operation we receive shipments of sulphur (via semi trucks equipped with tank trailers) in molten form that is produced in oil refineries and store this sulphur in large storage tanks.  From these tanks, this sulphur is then pumped to a priller where we turn the molten sulphur into small pellets which allows us to store sulphur as a solid in much larger quantities on the ground.   From here, we can load sulphur onto a portable conveyor system that allows for us to load barges on the Calumet River. Sulphur is a non-hazardous naturally occurring mineral.  It is only considered a hazardous material when in molten form as it maintained at approximately 275°F.
